The process involves the use of a good tripod, panoramic head, and bubble level. The camera and tripod must be perfectly level. The nodal point of the lenses must be determined for the focal lenght of the lenses being used and set accordingly. Once the images have been captured, they are "stiched" together using computer software. There are several different software programs for accomplishing this process.
